They fought a war...

 They fought a war...

They fought a war they did not make
and theirs were the lives who were at stake.

So don't question their integrity
They are the stars and stripes
It's not with these brave men
In which you have a gripe.

They promised us all
to love and protect
All they ask in return
Is a little respect.

So is it just with living
you don't know how to behave,
Or would you also dance
on a dead vets grave?
