Don't Be Surprised

Don't Be Surprised

Don't Be Surprised
If I've been waiting centuries
to feel your eyes all over me
Just don't be surprised

And don't be surprised
If I have to stop and breathe
whenever you're talking to me
Just don't be surprised

Cause everything I do
I do it because of you
You're not home,
I'm on my own
Every day, surrounded with pain
and once you can, if you don't come around,
Don't be surprised if I track you down

Don't be surprised
If I find it hard to believe
When you're standing there in front of me
Just don't be surprised

Don't be surprised
If I wonder if it's all a dream
If I understand how lucky I am to have you loving me
Just don't be surprised

And don't be surprised
If everytime I look into your eyes
I truly see
A soul that was meant for me

Everything that will come to pass
Whatever you ask
I'll always say yes
So don't be surprised
