I Miss You So Much!

 I Miss You So Much!

Loving a sailor is the hardest thing I must do.
Being seperated from the one you love must be hard on you too.

At night I lay awake and I try to drift off to sleep.
Beside my bed, on my nightstand your picture I keep.

Since you've been gone it seems;
My most vivid memories of you can be found in my dreams.

Dreams of the way you would hold me so tight,
Loving me unconditionally with all of your might.

Why must the Navy take you away from me?
Sending you away for months at a time out to sea.

When I close my eyes I would swear I can hear
"Don't Worry, I Love You, I will be home soon my dear!

At last you are home and I can feel your gentle touch,
And the sound of your voice, I have missed you so much!
